libpar2-dev software package provides Headers for the libpar2 library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpar2-dev
libpar2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpar2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpar2-dev *
You will get with libpar2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
